The design of the vegetable farm takes into consideration
the market demands for high quality vegetables throughout
the year in order to ensure regular supply during the “ off
season” period as well.
The Irrigation system allows continued growth during the dry
season, either by using Sprinklers or Drip systems -
depending on the crop requirements.
The use of a Greenhouse allows full control of the growing
conditions used for high value vegetable like big tomatoes.

Green Houses :
The two main functions of Greenhouses are to ensure full
control over the growth environment of the plants,
regardless of external climatic conditions, as well as to
provide adequate protection from insects and viral diseases.
The structural components, made of galvanized steel, include
access gates with entry pavilions, and trellising support
system. Air Circulation with fans will reduce the moisture
inside the Greenhouse and prevent Bacterial and Fungal
diseases.
The roof is covered by polyethylene sheets of 0.18 mm width.
The walls are covered by Insect proof Nets (50 Mesh). The
plants will be grown in treated Soil (kept in special
plastic tunnels), separate from the untreated surface soil
to avoid soil disease.
