Dizengoff offers a super-intensive fresh water fish farming system for the production of African catfish. *The plant is based on Re-circulated Water System with Bio-Filters in order to achieve up to 350 kg of fish in each cubic meter of water.

Catfish Growth
The Clarias Gariepinus - the african Catfish - is regarded by locals asa a protein source food item.
The Catfish can be kept at densities of up to 400kg per 1m3 water colume and develop quite fast at suitable conditions, i.e. feeding with the correct composition of food (protein, fats, minerals, vitaminsm, etc.), and maintaining a high quality of water In such density of fish growth, it si essentail to get rid of the feces and ammonium being excreted bt the fish.
The Re-circulated System takes care of purifying the water through special bio-filters, and allows the fish to grow to a market size of up to 1Kg whithin 6 months.
